New Internet numbers show continued growth | Internet Society: "Recently the ITU provided 2013 data, which we have used to update several of the maps. The numbers indicate some fascinating statistics about Internet usage in countries around the world for 2013:
- China has the largest number of Internet users at 634,589,474
- Iceland has the highest Internet penetration at 96.55%
- Papua New Guinea experienced the largest growth in Internet users, at 85.7%, from 3.5% penetration in 2012 to 6.5% in 2013"
